A Bit More About The Author

I lose at poker because im an idiot and a hopeless gambler. Not because Im bad at poker! Yesterday was a good case in point where I came second in a $5 SNG to triple my buy in, then won a $2 Double up, then within minutes had lost it all playing a super turbo luckfest when my 88 lost in a coinflip to Ace Jack. You are supposed to be ahead with a pocket pair against overcards.Mathermatically 55% 45% favourite. So why the bloody hell did I lose again?why did i know i was gonna lose before the cards landed? and why do i always seem to lose coinflips? What say you to that Mr Probability?Where are you hiding Mr Maths? You can both shove your statistics up your standard deviation anomalies while I go for a pint. arghhhh

Another losing day :-)

LESSON: Good Poker players are not gamblers. They adhere to sensible bankroll management like the stuff outlined on this site. Unlike me, who thinks hes too smart to take his own advice.Idiot.

  1. Its like my favourite saying, positive attitude leads to disappointment. If you are optimistic about average cards, you will lose more often than not.
My problem is that I get frustrated when I see my folded hand of averageness better than that of the eventual winning hand.

  2. Thanks for the reply. I think that is really good win though for only thirty dollars. Did you cash out or do you still play with the money you won? I play on ultimate bet because I got some free money on there so I started to play. I really dont like playing on their thought. I feel like they cheat against me a lot of the time. And sometimes I feel like i should have lost hands and then I win magically. I dont think it's a fair website but no other sites will take debit cards in the U.S. I have never heard of Titan poker maybe ill check it out. What do you mean when you say its sofer then fulltilt and pokerstars?
